No more trying to jump or step up while wearing a loaded dip belt! That can be a real problem with other one-height-fits-all dip bars. As you try to jump up or maybe step on a plyo box, to get into position, next thing you know the weight plates or kettlebell hits you in the leg or your pelvis tips forward and the dip belt falls off altogether. Well, with the Patriot Dip Bar, those problems are history! With or without added weights, athletes/operators of various heights can comfortably use the Patriot Dip Bar.
The Patriot Dip Bar handles can easily be adjusted from a maximum nominal height of 52 1/2 inches to a minimum nominal height of 37 1/2 inches. Just pull the detent pins out, move the dip bar handles to the desired height and reinsert the detent pins.
The Patriot Dip Bar handles are 18 inches long, and have a diameter of 1 ½ inches.
Muscles Worked
The Patriot Dip Bar works your chest, triceps, shoulders, and back and is an essential piece of equipment for any serious athlete/operator.
*Note on Color Choice: The Patriot Dip Bar is available in Black or Tactical Tan.

Made In Michigan
Made proudly in the state of Michigan, in the good old United States of America, with US and global materials.
Materials
- All Patriot Dip Bars are made of steel and feature a urethane powder coat finish, with a Cerakote finish on the dip bar handles themselves.
- Cerakote is known for its extreme durability and corrosion protection, and is commonly used in the firearm industry.
- Urethane powder coating is known for its excellent chemical and corrosion resistance, and can even stand up to the elements when used outdoors.
Additionally, the dip bar handles feature a proprietary semi-rough textured surface that is not slippery when you grab it with sweaty hands, but also not so rough that it tears into your callouses. Our unique textured surface feels better in the hands than any other option on the market today. We invite you to try it out for yourself.

Decal Choice
At Patriot Bars, we know that color is a personal preference. That is why we leave the decal decision up to you. Every Patriot Bar comes with two different colored sets of decals. You can use either set of included decals, mix and match, or leave your Patriot Pullup Bar slick (no decals), for a plain look. Unused decals make great bumper stickers, or you can just slap them on your tool box.
Black Patriot Dip Bars come with two sets of decals: classic red, white, and blue, and subdued black.
Tan Patriot Dip Bars come with two sets of decals: classic red, white, and blue, and coyote brown.
Patriot Dip Bar FAQ
The Patriot Dip Bar bolts together easily with just two 15/16” wrenches, or one 15/16” wrench and a 15/16” socket and a ratchet. These tools are commonly available in most hardware stores, if you don’t already have them in your toolbox. You could even do the job with two large adjustable wrenches, but it is not recommended because they do not torque the bolts as tightly as the properly sized wrench or socket would, and they may even round the bolt heads, making disassembly of the equipment more difficult if you need to take it down and move it in the future.
Warning! Do NOT use impact tools for assembly as they may chip the powder coat!
Not a problem. The hardware used on the Patriot Dip Bar are 5/8-11 x 3 ¼ hex cap screws, 5/8” nuts and 5/8” washers. These are fairly common fasteners that you should be able to find at a local hardware store. If you cannot find these size fasteners or do not want to bother, email Patriot Bars, and we will send you replacements (you just have to pay the shipping).

Yes, but it is not recommended that you store your Patriot Pullup Bar outdoors long term. For safety, you must also make sure the surface you are using it on is flat. Concrete, pavement, and asphalt will scratch the bottom of the pull-up bar, so artificial grass, turf or a rubber mat is recommended when using it on those surfaces. Like anything made out of metal, rain, dew, saltwater, or air saturated with a high salt content will eventually cause your Patriot Pullup Bar to rust. Moisture should be wiped off immediately after any outdoor use.
A cloth or gym towel dampened with water works best. If you need to disinfect the dip bar handles themselves, a commercial gym disinfectant or Isopropyl alcohol can be used. Avoid getting the decals wet, as that can deteriorate them.
Why do Patriot Bars fasteners look a little ‘rustic’? Good question. All Patriot bars fasteners are coated in black zinc with a clear coating on top of the zinc for extra corrosion protection. The two combined coatings create the fasteners’ unique appearance. We think it looks cool, and you probably will too.
